Link Strength Score
Before you pitch, build or pay for a link, grade the opportunity. The Link Strength Score is Angle's open, deterministic model: enter the linking site's Domain Rating, the topic of the page and your anchor, and it weighs authority, topical relevance and anchor safety into one number, with guidance on how to make the link cleaner.
Exact-match keyword anchor. High relevance but the riskiest pattern. Use sparingly and dilute with branded/partial anchors.

2Your target reads off-topic for a page about "SaaS & software". A link from a page on a closer topic passes more relevance.
How the score works
The score blends three signals: linking site authority (how much trust the linking site can pass, from the Domain Rating you enter), topical relevance (how closely the topic of the linking page matches your target), and anchor safety (whether your anchor text looks natural or over-optimized). Anchor safety deliberately lowers the score for exact-match commercial anchors, because that is the pattern most likely to get a link devalued.
